My appointment was on schedule, the hair stylist asked me about how I wanted my hair done and I was happy with the result.
I had a great haircut with a very attentive hairdresser.
Hairdresser was a nice lady. Normal, no frills haircut. One small comment is that her fingernails were beautifully manicured but too long. she kept scratching my scalp and ears :)
Very good, the stylist was good not clean though
This has to be the worse experience I have ever had in an hairdressers. Normally I wouldn't bother putting in a review but for the fact I came into the salon happy and relaxed and left feeling miserable and victimised. The haircut was adequate and staff are fine if you don't have a complaint, but if you do your complaint is trivialized and you are made to feel unimportant for not spending enough as you used a Treatwell offer. I quote the hairdresser "I think it is a bit of a cheek to complain for an hour when you are having a £30 haircut". (I am not sure where she got the hour from, can't spend an hour complaining, simply don't have the time, 3-4 minutes more reasonable, maybe that's the crux of the problem time runs differently in Muse.) They also try play top trumps with your complaint by complaining to you about their workload, how understaffed they are, how they have been rushing around all day and then tell you that they are really good at their job (to be fair at this point unless I had been told I could have never had guessed). I was also told by the receptionist in a (couldn't be more patronising if you tried) manner that she was being very patient with me, only because she could see I was under pressure too (yes, under pressure absolutely, caused by this hairdressers). They gave me some shampoo and conditioner to make up for the problems and a discount card (but I can't bear to go there again). What was the reason for all this drama? Well, because would have liked to known as early as possible that there was a long delay and I could have then either cancelled or come back in 30-60 minutes. But it seems, so long as after 5 minutes of waiting you are told "sorry it is going to be a few more minutes", they have done everything needed. If you say 2 minutes isn't the same as half an hour, they get really upset and try to make you feel bad. All I wanted was an acknowledgement that they could have managed that a bit better and some respect towards my time, I am not interested in free shampoo and conditioner, or their money off voucher. I wanted to come out of the hairdressers still feeling happy and relaxed, but with better hair.
