When it comes to the salon and surroundings, you do really get what you pay for. It is quite tired looking and not that well equipped. I have in the past had a good haircut here with the same hairdresser but on this occasion the cut wasn't great and the styling was really not good. Rather than blowdrying my hair straight, she used straightening irons and kept them pressed down on my hair for so long that I could smell my hair burn. This resulted in an awful look that was nothing like the picture I showed. She also left a deep kink in my hair where she'd bent the straighteners whilst chatting and my roots were still frizzy and curly. I had popped in on a lunch break so had to cut my losses (excuse the pun) and dash back. I guess that's what you get for the price paid...
Had a lovely visit for a Hollywood. The staff was really friendly, the service was easy and comfortable. They were also kind enough and flexible to help me reschedule my appointment when I was busy with work. Great value for Central London! Will be back again.
