I had booked and paid for my pedicure in advance but was disappointed and surprised to be told on the day that prices had gone up and I had to pay an extra £7.50 for the treatment. Obviously it put me in awkward position as I was there and needed a pedicure as going on holiday the next day so couldn’t refuse it but I was annoyed as the salon could have contacted me prior to the appointment to be informed of this and then I could have made my decision to either continue or cancel.
