I have had my hair blow dried straight many times at Michael Frank's and it has always been sleek and my natural frizz smoothed. It always looks much better than when I do it myself and people always comment positively on it. Yesterday, this was not the case. My hair was still quite frizzy, the usual high standard was not achieved with the products used and the hairbrush used was not appropriate for my fine hair. It pulled at it and seems to of caused additional breakage to that which was already there. The lady doing my hair was genuinely lovely and changed the brush but even then it was still pulling more than I've ever had it pull. I was unable to flag up my dissatisfaction fully at the time as I was running late for a train (as my appointment took longer than usual) so I just paid and left. I honestly believe that the lady doing my hair did her very best and her level of customer service/manner was high. However, I would definitely say that there was a disparity between the quality of styling yesterday and that received previously. My friends were surprised to learn that I had been to the hairdressers and the much longer time with the hair dryer on it has left my hair looking quite worn out and wispy today. However, I will be back to Michael Frank's and I'm confident that this will be a one off.
