Went for a Shellac manicure, I was a bit disappointed that the type of polish used was some other, non-branded type of gel polish, but overall am quite satisfied with the manicure. It has lasted around 1.5 weeks, which is pretty good!
Monica was skilled at applying the polish and was very nice. Only downside, was that I wasn't sure what to expect and the staff wasn't able to tell me exactly what the manicure package consisted of and how the whole thing was going to happen, which put me off a bit when she started aggressively buffing my nails (which are naturally quite thin to begin with!). However, it wasn't too bad, and overall, I would probably go do it again for a special occasion.

I will not be coming to this salon again. After a non-warm welcome I was told to wait. Sat for 10 minutes whilst the beautician and other staff proceeded to chat loudly in another language to some contractors about construction works. After the contractors left then was I seen to. The lady who did my wax did ask if the wax was too hot to which I replied yes and advised several times that it was she only proceeded to blow on the wax before applying. Definitely have never felt such hotness on sensitive parts of my body. She also made very awkward conversation. Lots of leftover wax left on my skin too. Not worth the £.
