Not a proper salon in my opinion. uncomfortable, ill-equipped Really not a good experience for me and wouldn't recommend to friends or work colleagues. Disappointed with this salon. being in the heart of the business district i expected a better standard. Poor set-up, ill-equipped, cramped, untidy, place could do with a lick of paint. Staff eating their lunch in front of me because they don't have their own private wellbeing area, is just poor in my opinion. This establishment has given me the impression its ill-kept and cheaply managed. Didn't have sufficient pedicures stations in place as seen in normal salons. Need to abolish the 3 types of pedicures on their service list and stick to one. When I ask for a pedicure I expect skin removal, shape and polish and that's what I thought I had selected. Only this place was going to just shape and polish my toe nails dry for £22. Seriously? Are you crazy? I could do that myself. The excuse I got was most of their customers ask for gel and I'm sorry that's just not good enough!! A lady brought out a bowl to put my feet into on top of a rickety stall. I wasn't relaxed at all. Only to find out that they were going to charge me extra for this and I refused because the app didn't stipulate or describe the difference between their ridiculous pedicure choices. If that wasn't enough, I was told they didn't have any fans or heating equipment to speed up the drying process of the polish I had received so I had no choice but to stay there. Staff left me to my own devices, giggling to themselves and speaking in a foreign language and looking at me in the spaces inbetween made me feel like crap, not the friendliest environment and even got some dirty looks. When I finally had enough I told them exactly all of the above. What was meant to be a 25min session turned into an 1.5hrs and I got a massive b*****ing off my boss for how long I was away for, despite the sufficient time I allowed myself to not disrupt my working day and get this done. Happy to elaborate more on this, but suffice to say, this was a waste of my time and money. returned home in my shoes with ruined nail polish, as still wet, skin not removed. I will never return to this place and I think the owner or management of this place should receive the same b****ing as i received. Shame on you. Don't deserve to be at one new change. First time using treat well app so I'm. Likely to try other places before making a hasty judgement about treatwell as an app, but based on my first time experience it's not good. So we'll see what happens in terms of improvement.
Manicure was ok, a bit expensive for the result
Staff were pleasant and gel mani/pedi looked great, but not the most relaxing environment - cramped and a little run down. However, the location is convent and price is reasonable for City of London.
Service was quick and well done and I would love to leave a better review, but as I was paying two of the employees started screaming at each other for something that was said, threatening to hit each other and it was terribly uncomfortable and unprofessional. Not a spa experience!
Very good service, friendly staff, and they open until 8pm so it is easy to book appointments after work, I definitely recommend the threading and eyebrow tint
