I really enjoyed the facial however the swedish deep tissue massage was really poor. There was no massage techniques or deep tissue work mainly efflouage stroking and a lot of rubbing causing friction.

Booking the wowcher direct with the venue was an absolute nightmare, they were uncooperative and made us feel less of a customer because we weren’t paying full price. parking wasn’t clear, we ended up having to turn around a couple of times and it’s separate from the hotel, so ended up getting soaked in the rain before our appointment. They made us wait 25 minutes over our allotted time due to their own delays and cleaning rooms.
The treatments were mediocre and not worth paying full price for.

It was honestly disgusting far too dirty, and the welcome was terrible. On top of that, it felt like we were being judged because of our skin color, as if we didn’t know how things work or like it was our first time there. The place is also way too small, and the steam room wasn’t even working. Basically, we paid for nothing. It was not pleasant at all; instead of relaxing, we ended up even more stressed, especially because of how filthy everything was. Even the towels were smelly and dirty.

The venue was small and we were not expecting a dual room. The therapists were lovely, but our treatment was supposed to be for 60 mins. We were not taken into the room until 20 mins past our appointment time, and were back out, fully dressed, 40 mins later.
Therapists had to clear the room of towels etc, and get it set up again for the next clients, so no-one would be getting the full 60 min treatment.
Also, they had 'run out' of prosecco which was supposed to be part of our spa package. Poor.

The spa was not great! Was only a sauna available (which was aware of) but out of order when arrived (and not told). My appointment time was changed due to "maintenance works." yet someone had a massage at the time I'd booked so I'd obviously been lied to.
One shower available that was absolutely disgusting with rubbish left on the floor and flooded water/blocked. hairdryer available and had to walk back with wet hair.
The massage was nice but overall very poor experience. Would not return.
