The lady at the reception was really friendly and the therapist was professional and polite. I will book another appointment and try the hairdresser offer as well. Thank you very much.
I had my hair cut at Luca Salon today with Tammy. I was going for quite a big change (long to bob) so I was quite nervous. The hair stylist was brilliant. He listened to what I wanted and made great suggestions when I asked for his opinion. He spent a lot of time making sure the haircut was perfect and exactly what I asked for. I am so pleased with the result (and I'm usually someone who hates their haircut for the first few days!). The staff as a whole were very friendly and I felt very comfortable throughout. I would definitely recommend the salon. The £29 deal was such great value for the quality of cut I received.
Great overall experience - staff are friendly and accommodating, service and facilities are great. The salon itself is calm and clean with a lovely contemporary feel. I was very pleased with my highlights and cut so will definitely be returning to this salon.
I think the hairdresser was quite good and knowledgeble, the only problem was he did not really listen to me and did not explain what he will be doing well to me, so i ended up with something different than what expected + i had to pay another £39 for whatever extra he did (not sure what it was)! My friends liked my new hair style, saying it was really fashionable, but i didn't like it at all, i just wanted my 'ordinary' highlights. I went back after a few days and i have been seen by the owner, who was really nice and tried to make my happy about my hair again, but i still didn't have my highlights as this owuld be too damaging to my freshly-done hair. Al in all, after 2 visits I ended up with one colour only - very nice, i must say! - dried and tired of overcolouring hair, 5h spent on the chair plus 3h traveling and £94 (£55 voucher, £39 misterious addition, I won't mention train tickets) less in my pocket.
Nice salon and very friendly staff but the Brazilian blowdry treatment wasn't very good. I understand they've had to change the formulation because of the nasty chemicals in straighteners which make them work so well. Unfortunately it just didn't do that much to my hair- within a month it was getting frizzy again. I also got a trim and the stylist just cut straight across my hair even though I have thick hair that clearly needs layering. I suspect there wasn't enough time for a proper haircut.
