The results of the treatment were good and the girl who did my hair was sweet, but it was a stressful experience. The other stylist was screeching and making lots of noise, various people were coming in for appointments they'd forgotten to book in, the girl doing my hair disappeared off for 15 mins to see someone else. I didn't find it a pampering experience at all
Don't let the bad reviews of this place put you off. Yes the salon is a little scruffy, and there is no real atmosphere.... But for £20 you can't get a better value shellac manicure in London!! Farah is very professional and friendly. Definitely a no frills manicure but on a budget you can't get better. Will definitely be back.
My booking was last minute and the staff were wonderfully accommodating. Making me feel welcome from the minute I stepped in. The massage relieved so much tension. I will definitely recommend it and will be going back. The staff at this small salon genuinely care about their clients.
Sadly I was really disappointed with my massage.
The treatment couch was dirty, fresh wax was stuck on the towel that I had to lie on and the room was cold and dirty.
My masseuse seemed to be very inexperienced - her massage did not flow and she had nails that kept digging in to me. It was an un-pleasurable 1 hour!
I expressed my disappointment and the lady in charge suggested I came back and saw an "expert" next time. I did that and my second experience was even worse!
I would not go here again.
If you're planning to book an appointment at this salon, I recommend that you pay online as the price quoted by the staff was higher than what is stated online. The lady I spoke to while trying to get directions to the salon wasn't very helpful and was slightly rude. Also, while threading my face, the lady kept talking to other staff, which isn't very professional, in my opinion. The job could have been done faster if she hadn't done so. Otherwise, the threading itself was fine. Honestly won't return if it weren't for the affordable price.
