Don't let the small reception area fool you, the place is quite lovely! Had a quick chat before the float to explain it and to ask questions. Friendly relaxed staff (an depending on who you meet, it may be distracting in the tank if they are cute!). Shower has body wash, shampoo and conditioner which all smell great! Now the float itself, this part depends on you, your mindset and expectations. My expectations were unrealistic as I was hoping to get a sense of nothingness, but you can't really escape the sound of your body (heart beat, breathing etc) and the sound of water (whenever you move).. apparently even the sound of my own heart beats is distracting to me. I think music would have helped me to get into a more meditative state, and it would have been great to be able to choose to have it on. I felt like that whole hour was 15 minutes, time flies in the tank. After the float a deep sense of calmness (being so relaxed you could drift off to sleep) which lasted for the rest of the day and resulted in a very good sleep. It was like being in a protective bubble, where even though all the outside world stimulation is still in awareness but it just doesn't touch you (even in the tube). Would recommend it for introverts who need some deep relaxation, but not for those who expect a spiritual or life changing experience..

The float tanks are larger than some I have come across, plenty of space to unwind, relax and just let the water support you as if by magic. The massage after continued the relaxation still further and it was sad to leave and re-join the rest of the world in it's busy day.

We were offered a glass of water before and after to hydrate due the saltiness of the water inside the float pods. I found the whole thing very relaxing and should be back soon.
