My float -- I've have had more than a dozen -- was a wondrous one this time. But I feel that the facilities could use updating. Firstly, room lights need to come on when one exits a pod and they do not. This is problem in a dark room, especially if salted water has got in my eyes. Second the shower has only one tap/temperature and it takes ages for the water to warm up enough to get under the shower. This seems rather a false economy and environmentally unsound. What a waste of water. Otherwise, things are looking beyond their best. Still, it's the float that counts, I reckon, and that was great.
I loved the experience of floating in the dark (it doesn't have to be dark). I think I dosed off for part of the time... It was delightully relaxing and I had a great night's sleep after! Would definitely go back!
Don't know what everyone is complaing about regarding the cleanliness. Use your better judgement. Yes, due to the INCREDIBLY high salt content, the sides of the tank seem slippery because of the water chemistry, but it is filtered every time there is a person, so its a million times cleaner than a swimming pool or indeed your own bath. Dominica the woman who was helping was brilliant, no hidden fees all is very transparent, very relaxing and the floatation itself is brilliant. Slightly unsusual suggestment - if you are just embarking on a process of weightloss, highly recommend you do it. It allows you to feel your body, its own weight and the texture to help you break through the barriers of your own mind and how you feel your body - it will kickstart your mental shift on the weightloss journey. Not even going to mention how awesome my sleep was, and my body weight was a kilo less the next day just purely out of water loss but still nice plus. Refreshing, relaxing. Thanks!
