Amazing service as always! Have been getting my eyebrows threaded there for at least 3 years never go anywhere else!
The staff were lovely including the hairdressers on the top floor. The spray tan was great and exactly what I expected! Definitely good value for money.
Maggie is very nice, attentive and did a good pedicure. Salon itself was crowded and noisy so it wasn't a great experience overall.
Honestly? It was bizarre. First of all, I was made to wait 15 minutes without explanation, and with no one checking on me. Then I was taken downstairs by the lady who was going to do my massage, but as she could speak absolutely no English, she didn’t even know how to tell me whether I needed to lie face down or up. Her colleague came in to act as a translator and told me that yes, I had booked the hot stone massage, but actually their machine wasn’t working and so the masseuse was going to do it with hot towels instead. I have never had a hot stone massage and was quite looking forward to trying it, and plus I don’t think hot towels would give the same result, so I suggested she could just do a normal massage instead; the lady insisted she was going to use towels. The masseuse put on a YouTube playlist on her phone which kept stopping and playing ads instead - not exactly relaxing. The room wasn’t tidy nor particularly clean; I could hear people walking, talking and sneezing outside the door, plus at some point a baby started crying really loud - REALLY not relaxing. The massage was very average - and there was no real ‘free’ Indian head massage. The towels, as I expected, were no substitute for the hot stones, as they lost their warmth almost immediately. Due to the language barrier the masseuse and myself could not communicate at all. She was either feeling awkward or she didn’t know what she was doing - the massage was quite random. And at the end, she left me there without really saying anything. I will not return nor I would recommend this experience.
Sheila makes me feel really comfortable whilst on the table and takes an interest in building a lasting relationship.
