I unexpectedly walked out of this appointment with my favourite haircut of all time. I’d asked for a trim and some light shaping around my fringe, I ended up with some pretty funky fully-fledged bangs which I wasn’t expecting but I’m completely obsessed with! I feel like my hair type was understood and used to it’s best ability. So happy with my new look.

I had never been to Live True London Soho before, I needed a manicure for a special event I have at the weekend and had a colour in mind. There was such a poor choice of colours and only about 10 gel polish to choose from, nothing near to what I wanted, so went with the best of a bad bunch. I am so disappointed with the colour, I absolutely hate it and am going to have it removed tomorrow and a new colour put on at another salon. Such a disappointment. They should have more options, very poor.

This was the WORST manicure I’ve ever had. The nail tech was 35 mins late and she only had about 10 colours to choose from. I had to pick off my gels because she was so late I didn’t have time to soak them off. She then proceeded to clip my cuticles to the point they hurt. When applying the colour she painted soooooooooo slowly, that it was painful, I had to ask her to forgo a coat because I didn’t have the time. When it came to curing, all of the nail varnish rubbed off - it was a total disaster. I had to ask her to stop painting because it was a shambles. I would never ever step foot in this salon again, she clearly isn’t qualified in the slightest. I’m currently in the process of requesting a refund. What a waste of my time and money.

I’ve been using Live True for years but unfortunately this was very disappointing. I just went for a toner top up and was first told it wasn’t possible even though I’ve had it twice before. Once it was agreed I was left in the basin for too long and my hair is much darker than I asked for. It also took nearly double the time it should. I will be sticking to the other salons in the future.

I really loved my hairdresser, she was extremely helpful and took the time to explain each step to me in detail, which is why I trusted the process and let her get on with things, but unfortunately in hair I ended up with was just not what I had asked for. During the consultation I showed an image of the tone and colour I was after and I ended up with something far lighter than anticipated. It’s always important for me to get a colour, which still feels somewhat natural and at the moment it feels as though my whole head has just gotten bleached. Whilst I couldn’t fault the quality of the staff, the service itself was not up to standard especially when you consider the price.
