Been going to Maria for several years and wouldn't go anywhere else - very friendly and approachable, great short cutting technique on difficult hair, attractive updated salon, reasonable prices, and all in a very accessible place. Good to have a wander through the Lanes afterwards, feeling great with my fresh coiffure!

I needed a last minute hair cut and thought I'd try Lipstick and Gunpowder after seeing good reviews on Treatwell. Really pleased with the whole experience. Its a lovely salon, very clean and welcoming,tucked down a side road off East Street so really central but quiet. Ross was lovely and knew exactly what cut I was going with minimal description. The cut was of excellent quality and I've had lots of compliments which doesn't always happen! The products they used were lovely too. Thank you!

This was my first visit and I was not disappointed. Ross took time to list to me and discuss what I wanted and made some good suggestions, and I was very pleased with my haircut. Ross also gave me a very relaxing head massage! I would definitely recommend and go there again. Thank you.
