The facilty was very much a ' bolt on' to a new modern hotel rather than a typical spa resort. It had a nice swimming pool, jacuzzi (not working at time of visit), a aromo steam room , relaxation room, a dry sauna and a small gym area. The mud treatment (which was on an offer) was self applied and pleasant. Favorite part of the facilty was the relaxation room where you could chill with a fruit tea. Negative points were lack of a 'private' channing cubicle and the main changing room was not laarge enough to cope with too many people using it at the same ttime. Would highly recommend for use with 'an offer'.
I came to visit the spa yesterday as a birthday treat for my mum and being on a budget, it was the perfect gift. On arrival, we were greeted by the receptionist who took us through the facilities, told us about our day, and planned it perfectly! The treatments were great, and just what me and my mum needed to relax. The therapists we had were also lovely. In all the day was more than we could have asked for! Thankyou!!
I booked a special 2 for 1 offer at Breathe Spa as a way to chill out before Christmas and I have to say it certainly was a chill out! The facilities were lovely and very modern and the friendliness from the therapists was quite delightful and refreshing compared to some I have experienced in the past. My friend and I enjoyed a treatment together in the same room which was great. If I didn't live so far I would certainly return ;-)
I booked this spa deal as a little treat from between Christmas and New Year and it was very good value for money. I only paid £20 per person, and the treatment alone should have been £75 for two let alone the access to the spa facilities so I cant really complain. However if I had paid full price I would not have been impressesd at all. The Jacuzzi did not work, the gym was very modern, but very small. The pool was nice but there were only 2 loungers around the pool, which when you go for a spa day and want to loung around, is not very good. Then there was the relax room. This again would have been a nice feature if the staff memebers did not come in every 10 minutes with people that they were showing around the spa facilities. It was a bit like being in a zoo and people kept coming and looking at you every so often. This is a nice spa if you are sytaying at the hotel and going for one treatment, it is not really the place for a full spa day as it is just not big enough or peacful enough.
