Ali is our sports nutritionist and naturopath. She takes an individualised approach as she recognises no two athletes or sports are the same. She combines the best of herbal medicine and nutrition in order to help sportspeople improve athletic performance, reduce risk of injury, optimise recovery and reduce exercise fatigue. Having grown up playing competitive sports in netball, softball and volleyball. And competed at a high level in snowboarding and dancing. She understands firsthand the pressure sport performance can have on an individual and the importance of nourishing and recovering a body to avoid burnout or injury. She works with the individual to get the very best out of their body and reach their full potential in a safe and empowering manner. Ali has a drive and passion to always be at the forefront of new sport nutrition research and data. Providing the perfect balance of holistic and evidence-based medicine in order to give patients the greatest possible outcome. All while continuously developing her skills in the realm of sports performance. Ali takes great pleasure in supporting individuals and watching them reach their full potential, whether they are a weekend warrior, play for a local team or an athlete in their sport. If they have a passion for sport, she has a passion to help. She has a particular interest in women of sport and young athletes.
Ali is a specialised MSK Physiotherapist working with us at LDN as well as across East and Central London in a number of clinics. These range from working directly under General Practitioners in the community setting, to Chronic Pain Services as well as various outpatient clinics. His expertise allows him to confidently treat acute sports injuries, to manage long standing musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Ali has a personal background in rugby, weightlifting and martial arts, and is fully prepped to keep you fighting fit!
After graduating from the renowned St George’s (University of London), Ibby has gained extensive experience in both the NHS and private sector. She is now a specialist MSK physiotherapist with over 10 years of experience. Besides working at LDN physio she also works in a busy NHS Orthopaedic knee clinic, fracture clinic and alongside a sport medicine clinic. She is therefore well equipped to manage both acute and chronic injuries whilst always adopting a holistic approach to her treatments. Having started her MSc in Advanced Physiotherapy and recently completed a module in Musculoskeletal Rehab and Exercise Prescription she is determined to get you back to full fitness and doing the things you love. She is also a qualified acupuncturist via the AACP. She has a keen interest in lower limb injuries, fracture rehab and perinatal care especially since becoming a new mum herself. She enjoys Pilates and getting in the gym when time allows it.
Originally from Poland, Kasia has been living in The UK since 2010 and now calls it her second home. Health conscious since early years, influenced by her herbalist dad she began studying biology, anatomy and human movement first out of curiosity to later decide to make it her career and life path. She is a nature lover, a barefoot enthusiast who reads research papers for pleasure and never stops learning. In 2017 Kasia graduated as Soft Tissue Therapist and decided it wasn’t enough, so she took it further and now is in her 4th year of a Master of Osteopathy degree. She treats people from all walks of life and professions. Her approach is holistic and person-centred with a good mixture of skills to treat athletes, office workers as well as pre- and post-natal patients. Kasia has a keen interest in scars and how manual therapy can aid healing processes post- injury/surgery not only for aesthetic reasons but also for functional purposes. During treatments, Kasia utilises various tools and approaches like dry needling, IASTM or lymphatic drainage techniques to created unique treatment for patient’s specific needs.
Daniele is a specialised MSK Physiotherapist, that graduated with Honors in 2018 from the European School of Physiotherapy in Amsterdam. He then completed the Exercise and Sport Medicine Masters at Queen Mary University of London in 2021. His experience ranges from hospital settings in South Africa, to treating professional skiers in Italy and most recently he was Lead Physiotherapist for two Women’s Championship football teams (London City Lionesses and Crystal Palace). With a special interest in shoulder and knee injuries, he loves and strives to bring every patient back to their desired activities, from everyday life to elite sport. Having had to come back from an ACL and meniscus injury himself, he will be able to offer insights both as a therapist and as a patient. Dedicated to treating the individual as a whole and not just the injured body part, Daniele will make sure the psychological aspect is taken care of just as much as the physical aspect to improve strength, resiliency and lead a pain-free, active life. He is also fluent in Italian and enjoys leading an active lifestyle, regularly weightlifting, playing football and skiing.
Nic is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 10+ years experience. After graduating with a first class honours Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2012, he then went on to work in a wide variety of clinical settings, ranging from some of the largest NHS trusts in London to professional sports clinics, and has gained extensive experience at assessing and treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. His passion for physiotherapy, particularly sports physiotherapy, stems from a successful swimming career in France his home country where he competed at national level. His special interests include post-operative and return-to-sport rehabilitation, and he particularly enjoys working with swimmers and runners of all levels. He also has a keen interest in physiotherapy in the workplace and has undertook extra training in office health & ergonomics. He has run on-site clinics in companies of all sizes including some of the biggest corporations and enjoys helping businesses improve workplace productivity and well-being.
Mike has gained a wealth of experience within numerous settings throughout his professional career within the NHS, private practice and professional football academies as a specialist sports, adult and paediatric Physiotherapist. He has worked as an Academy Physiotherapist at Chelsea Football Club which has forged a strong path in musculoskeletal physiotherapy early on in his career. He has also developed the key skills required for any emergency pitch side medical trauma management for low and high level sporting injuries and rehabilitation. Mike is one of our football specialists and will enjoy getting you back on the pitch as part of our Return to Sport Programme. He also has a keen interest in shoulder injuries, including injuries from climbing, strength and conditioning, as well as any running-related injuries. He has experience across some of the most prominent NHS trusts and private clinics of London, and builds excellent rapport with his patients for the best outcomes.
Mani is a senior musculoskeletal Physiotherapist working in East London. His work across different NHS trusts and specialities over the past 10+ years has enabled him to grow his experience in treating patients with varying conditions. His special interests include nutrition, return to sports and calisthenics. Mani is part of our Hands & Wrist specialist team, building on experience in a prominent H&W clinics at one of London's major hospitals. He is also a qualified nutrition consultant and works with our patients in ensuring their rehab is not impacted by any unmet dietary needs. Prior to entering the world of physiotherapy, Mani studied Neuroscience where he was passionate about neural plasticity, motor imagery and neurodegenerative disorders. He feels that his extensive research into sleep, stress and motivation play a large part in the rehabilitating patients back to full fitness. Mani is a keen footballer and plays regularly with his local team. If you are recovering from a football injury, he'll probably take you to the park for a 1v1!
Tom graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2013 with a Bachelors in Osteopathy. Following graduation he took his osteopathy qualification on the road in 2014, spending a number of years working overseas. He spent time living and practising in New Zealand, Australia and India before returning to his native London in 2019. Tom’s practices a structural style of osteopathy using techniques such as manipulation, mobilisation and inhibition amongst other skills to help his clients achieve their goals. Over the years he has treated a whole spectrum of patients from amateur athletes to olympic medallists and from young kids to nonagenarians. He has a strong interest in the biopsychosocial approach, taking the time to get to know his parents not just on a clinical level to help them get the best results. Outside of osteopathy Tom is a keen cyclist and a reluctant runner. In 2024 he is hoping to reach a milestone 50th park run and to complete his very first ‘Dunwich Dynamo’ overnight ride on his trusty singlespeed. Tom’s main passion however is live music and is always looking for the next great show to attend. He is also an amateur woodworker and gardener.
Jonny is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 10+ years experience and a wealth of knowledge across a broad range of sporting injuries. With Premier League experience at Tottenham Hotspur FC football academy and at the IAAF World Athletic Championships 2017, London, Jonny has treated athletes at the highest level. Jonny’s knowledge doesn’t stop there. He specialises in the treatment and management all musculoskeletal injuries but has a keen interest in injuries of the lower limb and coaching footballers to ultra-marathon runners back to their best. Jonny will identify your diagnosis, work with you to create a tailor-made rehabilitation program and get you back to your activity as soon and as safely as possible.

Within the NHS, Vera has gained expertise in acute and chronic management, ranging from treating complex post op orthopaedic cases to running strength training classes for older adults. She also gained experience within first aid and rehabilitating acute injuries during her time in London Scottish Lions Rugby Club Beyond clinical practice, Vera actively contributes to grassroots sports injury prevention, striving to minimise risks for local sports enthusiasts. Liz is a specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with a keen interest in Sports and Exercise Medicine and Psychotherapy. She has worked extensively in private practice and competed in elite team sport in the UK. Liz is praised for her 5 star care, her “calm and supportive manner" and “attention to detail”. Individualised, holistic care is something that Liz strives to deliver and led to her seeking further professional development in completing a Psychotherapy and Counselling course, aiming to optimise the care that she provides. Joanna is a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist working at LDN Physio and as a Research Physiotherapist in orthopaedics at a London major trauma hospital. Joanna has been a practising physiotherapist for over 6 years and has a broad range of experience, from outpatient clinics in the NHS, to scholarship athletes and elite sports professionals at the University of East London High Performance Programme; and as the Academy Head Physiotherapist at West Ham United Women. Having completed MSc modules on rehabilitation in physiotherapy, Joanna has a keen interest in high level rehab, getting athletes back to full health and making a confident return to sport. Within clinical practice Joanna’s passion is in rehabilitation and inclusivity in exercise and physical activity participation throughout London. Working in orthopaedic research and in outpatient orthopaedic physiotherapy clinics, Joanna has extensive experience managing people post-operatively, after fractures and works closely with orthopaedic surgeons. Through this experience Joanna has developed a keen interest in women’s health and performance. Joanna loves staying active outside of work doing Crossfit, half marathons and triathlons.
Lucy is a Senior Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist who has gained experience working within the NHS at two London Trusts. She also works as a physiotherapist for the U21s in the Arsenal Women’s FC academy. She is currently continuing her professional development by pursuing an MSc in Advanced Physiotherapy, helping her to deliver the best possible care. Lucy specialises in rehabilitating a range of musculoskeletal conditions, including post-fracture or operative rehabilitation, the management of acute/long-term soft tissue injuries as well as persistent conditions. She has also recently developed an interest in the management of acute hand and wrist conditions, building a speciality within the Hand and Wrist team. Lucy particularly enjoys helping people on their journey to regain function, confidence and specific rehabilitation towards personal goals. Beyond physio life Lucy loves all things sport. Her main passion is football, playing for the East London-based Clapton Community Football Club. She also enjoys outdoor swimming and cooking with family and friends.
After qualifying from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013 with a Masters degree in Osteopathy Harry has continued to work across East London for a number of years. Coming from a strong sporting background, this carries over to his understanding of a broad range of sporting problems. A keen elite hockey player and with a specialist interest in treating ultra-runners during events all over the world, Harry treats a variety of sporting and mechanical injuries, as well as the day to day physical stresses that life inflicts on us all. Harry has experience of working with a wide spectrum of patients from triathletes and runners to office workers and expectant mothers. In 2019, having designed a highly functional foam roller, Harry launched Manta Health and now incorporates his Osteopathy at Manta Health and LDN PHYSIO.
Owen is a specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist from Newcastle with over 5 years of experience working in musculoskeletal NHS and private settings. His breadth of practice covers both primary and post operative care for all kinds of acute and chronic MSK issues. His experience ranges from treating high performing individuals in swimming, running and cricket to working out in communities helping people from all backgrounds and ages get back to what they enjoy. Owen has a focus on holistic care, addressing all the factors involved to allow a full return to sport and normal activities. Owen has a strong interest in treating shoulders and spines and has worked across the UK in specialist clinics alongside experts in these fields. He also treats a range of lower limb issues too. Outside of work Owen has a passion for cycling and football, as well as keeping active with a varied mix of sports so he understands the importance of getting you back in action as soon as possible!
Margherita is a L5 Sports Massage Therapist with a background in Contemporary Dance. At the core of her practice resides a strong will to help people live pain-free and ultimately to allow any individual to achieve their optimal well-being. Led by her passion for movement and body mechanics, she worked alongside the healthcare team of the Royal Ballet School and London Contemporary Dance School to support students in their training. Other than dancers and artists, she has experience working with athletes and office workers. She considers herself creative, and her clinical approach reflects it. Taking into account the physical, psychological and social aspects of individuals, she aims to inspire people to encourage them in finding their unique way out of pain. Thus, home care and lifestyle suggestions are always brought in with an empathetic attitude, with the client at the centre of attention. Chin-Yu ‘Yoshi’ Ng is a Tuina & Sports Massage Therapist, starting out in 2016. Working primarily with dancers & athletes, Yoshi’s passion is to help clients improve, optimise & maintain their rest, recovery, performance & general health. His extensive manual therapy skills-set includes cupping therapy, IASTM & osteopathic techniques.
