After the first two coats of powder the color was too sheer and streaky, so the manicurist asked if she could paint gel over it. We discussed several times what to do before she agreed to remove the powder and begin again. Additionally, she dipped my fingernail into the powder instead of sprinkling the powder on my nail, which is less sanitary.
