I have been a client for many years and keep returning after momentarily straying into other salons, which are never as good as they promise. Ian always delighted with the treatments, particularly the massage, which definitely gets rid of all the knots and tension. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lorraine - and in fact I often do!
Been a regular for many years now. Tried sports, deep tissue and hot stone massage and all these therapies have worked wonders. Services have always been delivered in a professional and friendly manner with everything laid out and ready when I arrive. The room is always the right temperature and the ambience is relaxing with soothing music softly playing in the background. Will recommend anyone to give it a try.
Received a voucher from a friend for a treatment at Kent Beauty and Massage. I was treated to an Ultra-relaxing facial. Lorraine works from both her house in Cliffsend and Discovery Park in Sandwich. I chose to visit her house in Cliffsend and am glad I did! It is in a quiet residential area and immediately upon arrival I felt relaxed. Lorraine is very welcoming and showed me to her treatment room which is warm, clean, fit for the purpose and completely professional. Lorraine completely put me at ease and I can honestly say that the treatment I received was second to none! Starting with the one of the best back massages I have ever received, I was then treated to a luxurious facial. There was tranquil music playing in the background and the room was so toasty that I kept dozing off. I shall return!
The room is really too cold. Even if you are getting a treatment and your body will warm, you still want to feel comfortable in the right temperature. Her music player wouldn't work and when she put in a CD it kept skipping and skipping. So, she was not prepared for the appointment as she fussed for the first five minutes trying to fix it up. I had a hot stone massage and I didn't like the cold treatment she did at the end which was uncomfortable and not really welcoming but it seemed I didn't have a say as to whether I wanted or not, she just put the cold rocks on me. I felt the treatment was a bit too amateur for the price and this has really confirmed in my mind that home treatments are not worth it. I will be sticking to the spas and salons from now on!!
