The balayage and blow dry was overall quite good. I booked and paid £55 for this, which is really good. However, they charged me extra when I got there. They said they have to charge more as they had to use toner because I wanted a lighter balayage. You would think any hairdresser would use toner anyways? I believe they were trying to take advantage of me, I am quite young, and tried to milk money out of me and I don’t think it’s fair. I would recommend some place else, don’t bother.

Lovely balayage colour done at this salon. Also gave me a complimentary blow dry, which was very kind of them. They have a great deal on at the moment where you can return to the salon for an 'update' (starlight), in which you get a free colour touch up and/or toner treatment if you go back within 1 month. The staff are all really nice too. Only slight negative is that I would have liked a few more short layers cut, but the overall cut was still nice.

Though the stylist was really nice and friendly, the experience wasn't brilliant. The whole thing took almost 3 and a quarter hours. Told I would need a toner at an extra £25 to get the colour I wanted, I was happy to pay, Except the end result is still pretty brassy and not the nice ash blonde I asked for. Also some of the placement of highlights near my face is a bit off. Had I not been late for an appointment at the point of leaving, I would have mentioned the issues.

The guys here are really lovely and friendly. They listen to what you want and offer advice but aren’t pushy. They fixed my hair the next day for free when I came back in and said I wasn’t 100% happy with a certain bit (overall it was lovely, just a patch I wanted fixing). I would definitely go back.
I would say if you go at a busy time and you’re getting colour, expect to be there for a good few hours! I didn’t realise this, and was a very late to meet a friend!
