I went to Jade Angel for colouring and haircut. It was a last minute appointment with Deira, who was very friendly and took care with helping me to choose the colour. After 2.5 hours I left the place happy with the result.

Donna, who did my nails, was amazing! But I'm not sure I'll be back again due to management.
It was Thursday night before an early flight for a weekend holiday. I booked a 6:30pm 1hr appt for a gel mani and pedi. I was delayed running errands before the trip and didn't arrive until 6:45pm. Owner (i think) had called at 6:40 to tell me I was late and I now had to choose between a mani or a pedi with no refund or ability to reschedule. I show up at 6:45 and tried to explain and said maybe I can do my own mani if someone can do my pedi. Owner stated something about not having insurance and would be bad if something happened to me while I did my nails. Seriously? I called her out that she was just being difficult and in my years of doing my own nails, I've had no catastrophic incidents. Donna took me and worked on me anyways and kept asking how much time she had so she can try to still do both. Owner at first was coy and didn't want to say, finally she said until 7:15 (note my appt was 1 hour, which would have been 7:30). I didn't want to waste any more time arguing so I stayed quiet. A few minutes later she came back down and offered to paint my hands. Donna declined (to which I smile and thought to myself, that woman will never touch my nails). Donne and i had a good time talking and watching YouTube videos while she worked brilliantly fast. I helped by filing and buffing my hands. I was done by 7:13pm. That deserved a big tip :)
By the time I was leaving the owner had changed her tune and tried to sound like she was helpful and cared about my need to get both done before my holiday. I'm disappointed she didn't lead by example good customer service. Maybe it was fair to her to cut 15 minutes off because I was 15 minutes late. But I prepaid for an one hour service...
I loved Donna's spirit and effort to help a customer. 5 stars for her!
2 lessons: 1) don't go to Jade Angel and 2) don't prepay for services.

Very central, really lovely! Probs would only go back if there was a deal on (like this was) because otherwise quite pricey
