Sylvia was very caring and attentive, had a fabulour haircut which she blow dried curly. was very happy with it as I was going to a party. would definitely recommend!
Walked in and was told they couldn’t do my hair because it was ‘too long’ told me straight go get a refund... I was willing to pay. But they were chbagrging me more than full price 😑 they need to know how to keep customers.
The minute I walked in an employee was asking me about payment from treatwell. It made me feel unwelcome and Already felt uncomfortable. Then when an alternative colour was suggested for my hair, one of the first things I was told was that it would cost more (understandably) but there is a way to go about it.
With regard to the cut, it was one of the worst hair cuts I’ve ever had. I don’t usually complain about hair cuts as I’m not very precious about my hair but when I got home I had chunks of hair almost 2-3cm longer than others. I had to ask my unqualified friend to cut them for me because it looked that bad.
The staff were welcoming in new customers when they didn’t have the capacity for it, building up a huge queue and then ultimately rushing through my hair, making mistakes and not taking the time needed when nearly £100 is being spent on hair. I paid extra money for a ‘stylist’ and I was very unhappy with the result. I’m sure they are good hair dressers but rushing through clients and leaving them with very dodgy hair cuts isn’t the way to keep business. Sadly I won’t be returning.
