Had a wonderful experience at Jackie & co. Was running slightly late due to tube delays but staff were pleasant about it! Jack the senior stylist walked me through what he thought would be best (as a balayage newbie) and gave me full rundown in pros and cons etc which was super helpful as I normally dread any hair style change! He then walked through the lovely man who was going to do the highlights and he did a super job. He took a before/after picture and I was so pleased with it, it looked brand new with a lovely natural blow dry! The cut was natural and even though I needed a sufficient amount off, it doesn’t look much shorter! Was charged £30 for a toner but wasn’t too upset about this as was aware it’d be best for the colour.

When I walked in, the staff had no record of my appointment and I wasn’t put with the woman I requested to treat my hair. They looked at my booking confirmation on my phone and luckily had enough staff available to fit me in. The consultation was very short and before I knew it I had two men putting color on to my hair, one of which was seemingly in training. They were also speaking a different language the entire time with each other and other staff members who were watching them which made the experience very uncomfortable. I was also charged for more than I wanted as they told me the color I wanted to achieve would require a different treatment to the one I had originally booked. Despite the problems, however, I am overall satisfied with the outcome. Slightly patchy color in several areas but not terrible. Would not go back again though.
