Why anyone would pay the ridiculous hairdressing prices in Cambridge when there is this awesome place is beyond me.
The staff are lovely, friendly and great at their job. Especially the two sisters working there. The parrot is the bonus you didn’t even know you needed!
I just had my hair cut, coloured and blow dried to an excellent standard in half the time and at half the cost of other salons I’ve tried in Cambridge - so glad to have found this gem of a place. Thanks Cellys
My wife and I have been coming here for over 8 years and rate them highly. Lovely people who care about their work. Always give a wonderful finish and happy to give advice on hair products. Definitely the best hairdressers in Cambridge and excellent value. Highly recommended.
I've been coming before to Celly's for simple women's haircutting and was always pleased. Today I went to them with overgrown brown roots, with red, purple and even green streaks and so many colours in it and they managed to dye it a beautiful dark brown to grey fade. They listen to your feedback and explain to you what is best to do and what's best for your hair, and all women are professional and pay attention to you and they're communicative. They did a great job colour correcting it and I was very pleased with it.
Hair cut was nice, but unfortunately I went to the sallon 1 month before and booked in a appointment for cut and bleaching/colouring. My partner was with me and we are both 100% sure we let it booked. On that morning, I called in to say I was few minutes late and I've been told that nothing was booked but I could still come that they would cut my hair and squeeze me for the bleach after 12. Went there, had my hair cut, which was nice and once completed, I asked which time I should be in for the bleaching. For my surprise I was told there were no slots available and I would have to come another day, but what really threw me off was the fact I have been told I was confused and I did not booked it in, when me and my partner are 100% sure, and one of the ladies was really rude, not even considering she could have made a mistake and make us feel as if it was our fault and even turned her backs off and abandoned the conversation. Rude and no sense of what good customer service is. I don't want to extend this to all staff, but the truth is that I am disappointed and these bad reviews didn't came from nowhere.

Most saloons say are busy to provide a hair cut to people with disabilities, Salon 52 is there for everyone no matter your gender, health or ethnicity. They are a lovely saloon and amazing humans 🙂
