I had a balayage with Lily and was quite disappointed. I’ve been getting balayage for 5-10 years now and what Lily gave me ended up looking more like a traditional, chunky foil highlight rather than the hand painted, blended, natural look that I always get with balayage. The colour also was not what I had asked for, which was a cool toned brown. Instead, I received a very orange-y toned brown, which I’m told means that my hair wasn’t lifted enough before the toner was applied. To top it all off, my ears were full of dye when I left the salon - not just the in the curved part at the top of my ear, but all around the entrance of my ear canal as well. I walked around with dye in my ears for hours before I went home and realized it was there. In the end, I went to another salon to get my hair fixed. I would never go back to this salon again.
