Booked a Hollywood wax for £23 on wahanda. First they called because they couldn't accommodate the time I had booked so that was changed. After my appointment I was told that the hot wax was actually £35! I was not given the option of a hot wax or a strip wax when I was having the appointment the girl just used hot wax.
If someone books a service for £23 then give them that service, don't force them to pay more after the fact. Extremely unprofessional.
Paid a lot of money for what I hoped would be a brilliant service. However, the therapist spent less than half the time designated to my treatment, and I arrived home to find many, many hairs - many of which I plucked out myself! As I was told, some hairs may not come out with waxing as they are too short, but the hairs I plucked out were not short at all.
Really happy had a lovely treatment and my eyelashes look great - very thorough job! They were really friendly and helpful in arranging a time to suit.
Unfortunately, the salon was closed for when my booking was on bank holiday Monday (miscommunication between Wahanda and i Candy Beauty?) so will be rebooking and rereviewing following my treatment.
