House of Wax - The Express Waxing Salon

Pain-free and very effective wax!

I cannot express how disappointed I was in this treatment. Positives: The therapist was nice enough. Problems: 1. I had visited the House of Wax a couple of times within the last year. I turned up to what I thought was House of Wax and the this was not the advertised salon. 2. The salon was not clean; - the treatment room was dusty and there was hair around ( I only noticed this after the treatment had started) - the tweezer solution needed replacing - there were towels on the treatment bed which are not hygienic - the talcum powder wasn't in a shaker and was dabbed on (not hygienic) 3. There was no aftercare lotion or oil. I had to put on my black jeans with talcum powder all over me, which isn't how you want to leave a salon. 4. Upon resolving my payment the man on the register said very loudly "I see you haven't been back since October 17, why haven't you been back?" which was a creepy use of the booking system. 5. Then he wanted me to do a bank transfer because the payment system hadn't worked. Overall a really unprofessional experience when someone is waxing your "bits". Nervous to use treatwell again.
