The manicure and polish was done well but the manicurist didn’t check the shape or length with me before proceeding to finish. In the end it was cut shorter than I wanted but I was ok with it as it was a clean job and too late anyway
My first experience at House of Nails was a positive one. I pre booked my appointment with ease and didn’t have to wait on arrival. All the staff were friendly and seemed happy. Nice atmosphere. Really satisfied with my gel nails!
I booked for a nail infill but had three nails missing so at the venue I was charged an extra £7 which is understandable however if you look at the menu prices I'm able to book a full set for less that what I paid in total...
The staff were more focused on watching the football on their phones than on my nails. I didn’t feel like the manicurist was paying attention to how she was doing my nails and as a result they are not the way I wanted them to be. She cut my nails and did not shape them but instead left them with sharp edges and a lack of symmetry. This means that when my nails grow out they will be uneven and I will have to cut them down and start again. Both thumbs do not match and have been over filed and now look wonky. The pedicurist was a lovely lady and she checked in to make sure I was alright. I found her to be very friendly but was no pleased with the pedicure, there is still a lot of hard skin on my feet and I was hoping for a smooth feel. Honestly, I could have just done this myself and gotten the same result.
