Shop wasn't anything special appearance wise - but wash, cut and blow dry were all excellent. We had a conversation before to work out what I wanted, and he did exactly that. It also didn't take too long, about 40 minutes overall including the dry (I have long, thick hair so normally takes about 1hr 30). Hair looks great today, he changed up my fringe a bit and there is a lot of volume and bounce (good job on the layers).
Would definitely go again!
At the end of my haircut, I was pleased with what I could see, and the lady who cut my hair was really nice - both staff were very friendly, I can't fault the service. But when I got home, and more so this morning when I was styling my hair, I realised just how much it had been thinned. As it was being cut, the hairdresser was chopping into my hair with scissors quite roughly (I asked for some of the weight to be taken out), but I trusted her judgement, and she left the top as it was, because my layers had previously been cut too short and I didn't want them any shorter. But this morning I have realised, my hair is so dramatically thin from halfway down, and full on the top. My hair looks awful today, if I tie it up in a hair tie, there is barely enough to put up in to a bun, even though there is still a lot of length.
I would have said I'd return based on the service and friendliness of staff, but today I now have to go to another salon to try and rectify the situation, although I don't think its possible - my hair is completely straggly and in no way the same length at any point.
