I showed how much I wanted cut off (4 inches) and he look 6 inches off. He then started cutting upward, thinning the bottom out, my hair is really thin anyway. I was unaware, but this was to cover up the uneven job he had done. I had to go to another hair dressers the next day to straighten it out. There was chunks missing.
