Everytime I visit HMB I always leave happy with my treatments. Most recently I have had eyelash extensions and they have all lasted really well. They lasted throughout my holiday and still looked great a week after returning from my holiday, I was also complimented on them a few times too. They always manage to fit me in even if it is last minute, staff are always friendly and I would definitely recommend this salon to friends.
Absolutely awful experience. I have had many eyelash extensions before always with great results so bought a voucher to have them done at this salon. They never answer the phone so making an appointment was impossible I just sort of turned up and thankfully she could fit me in. She took a total of 20min for my lashes which I was very surprised by. She then said she had me down for the wrong voucher so I paid extra for them. Total rip of in hindsight. The salon was a mess and very untidy. The had brows were well done however. Having slept the night all of the lashes on one side had fallen out. I have never had that happen so contacted the place and she was basically blaming me saying that they are very high quality and would refuse to top them up only if I paid more and she claimed she was too busy so had no time anyway. I was very disgusted and appaled at the treatment I had received would not recommend at all.

Completely unprofessional salon. I went to get hair extensions through groupon for the first time. I booked an appointment to have consultation. When I arrived I was made to wait for 30 min and then the lady wasn't there and I was informed I could speak with her over the phone. Already here I should have demanded my money back. Either way, I upgraded to real hair and wanted the extensions to be coloured. All was sorted (and I of course was made to pay upfront ) and my hair was to be coloured by my appointment. When I arrived next time for my appointment, nothing was arranged. My hair had not been colored and I was made to wait for 2 hrs while this was sorted. I did like my extensions when they were finally put into place and the lady helping me was lovely, however manager of the salon was under any critique and I can't not believe how they can run a business. Would never ever go here again and I suggest no one else does either and I can only fault myself for not telling them off in the first place.
Absolutely disgusting. I purchased treatment via wowcher to MHB salon gants hill. Payment of course was taken immediately but when i tried to call in order to arrange appointment no one picked up. there was 3 different phone number there and based on automatic response they all seemed someones private mobile phone numbers... tried every day few times all 3 numbers for a week, email and txt messaged salon with NO RESPONSE! clearly a scam! then contacted wowcher as wanted my money back and wowcher wont reply to any messages and keeps me waiting in the chat line for hours without picking up. lost all money - would not recommend!
The salon itself was filthy, so I was nervous from the moment I arrived. The girl doing my treatments was very sweet, but it didn't seem like she'd had any professional training at all. My massage just involved having lotion smeared on my back, and my facial was done with sponges that smelt mouldy. The manicure left my fingers swollen and bleeding in places, with the skin ripped down my finger and bits of skin hanging off. At the end of my pamper package, I was left to put my top and bra back on with wet nails (which is impossible of course), so before I’d even left the salon the colour was smudged everywhere. The manager politely offered to re do it for me, but I just couldn’t wait to get out of there. It was actually supposed to be a 2 hour pamper package, but when I was told my treatments were all done after 1 hour, I was just relieved and so didn’t say a word. I went home washed my mouldy sponged face, took the polish off, soaked my fingers in salt water, and vowed never to go there again...
