Nice staff though its a very erratic salon. Eylashes looked great but mostly feel out after a week

My appointment was confirmed, money taken from PayPal. Arrived at the shop. It was closed and no one answered the phone. I am awaiting to hear from Treatwell to help me get a refund.

I aways go back here as Galina is one of the best eyelash technicians I know. A bit difficult to find parking but apart from that its definitely​ value for money.

My experience was lovely. I felt very relaxed in the non-intimidating venue and banter flowed naturally. She was informative and made me feel comfortable.
I applaud the business savvy of these young girls and wish them continued success.

My partner bought me a voucher from wowcher for eye lash extensions, I was told that I was booked for half an hour but it should have been for 45 mins so that was what she was going to give me, I thought that was very honest of her However I came out of the Salon with very few eyelashes but did not complain as the girl that was applying the lashes had been complaining all through my session that she was hungry and had not had a break all day and stated that if she did not get something to eat soon she would be in a very bad mood.
I assumed I would have full eyelashes and was not asked how I would like them whether thick thin long or short. Also at the end of my application some of the lashes were pointing in the wrong direction pointing downwards, I pointed this out to the girl ( who should have noticed this herself ) who promptly took a pair of tweezers and yanked them out (and didn't replace) which was very painful.
I was so unhappy and unsatisfied by my eyelashes that I booked a refill in for 2 weeks later with the hope that I could fill them up to how I wanted them I also paid £5 deposit, but after a week and most of the left eyelashes had fallen out I decided that I was not going to return and decided that they could keep my deposit. I didn't turn up and no body called to ask why. I had to go to work with hardly any eyelashes on one eye which was highly embarrassing. In the end I phoned around and went to a Salon I googled off the net. I was told that my lashes should never have fallen off so quickly and that you shouldn't get your eyelashes wet for hours ...NOT two days as HMB state...I had a half an hour session and the girl was fantastic I left there with luscious lashes feeling how I should have felt leaving HMB

I do not really like to leave bad reviews but I feel that HMB need to sort themselves out as I would have loved to return but the service was not good. What should have been a pleasurable experience for me, was not.
Would I recommend them?...probably not
Just because we have paid a discount price does not mean we deserve discount service. If that is how you feel then you should not offer the deal.

hi my apologies if you feel this way, and I am sorry you had a bad experience,had you of called I would have tried to rectify this, or book you with a different therapist. although I understand you don't like to leave feedback, but had you just called and let s rectify this we wouldn't be on the treatwell feedback page. I am glad that you got them sorted out, we book slots of 45 mins to an hour for a natural look, if you felt this way I just wish you called to give us the feedback so we could have a chance to put it correct,

Very swift service. The hairdresser was very friendly and polite. She was also very accommodating to my needs. Had a consultation for hair extensions and then received application on the same day. Was very appreciative and happy, because I had time constraints.. Overall, great service and I would recommend it to my friends or anyone thinking of getting hair extensions. Very happy with the results.

The place needs serious attention. A beauty salon must radiate beauty. This one radiates tattiness, tiredness and lack of care. Too bad, because the staff are friendly and seem to know what they are doing. But as long as the place remains in this condition avoid if your aim is to be pampered. No here.

Hi you didnt give me a chance to invite you in, when i said let me see after the month and its all healed that way if i feel it has not took id go through what you did with aftercare and id deffinately redo it if i thought i made the error, after 3 days if you cant see it it doesnt mean its gone. Its under your skin it takes a while to resurface and show plus its too soon to go over the area, i didnt say you didnt wish to pay hun, just mentioned its £79 on offer without a topup. If you paid £199 it would get 2 topups 3 max on some procedures, id still like you to book for after the mnth if its gone like you say i will go over the area, with the machine instead, maybe go slightly darker this time. Im sorry your angry at the moment please come after healing to go from there. This can be resolved and i assure you i dont have time for scams im as honest as you can get, im sorry you feel like this.

DON'T BE CONNED OUT OF YOUR MONEY

I paid £79 to have semi-permanent eyebrows and what I GOT we £5 eyebrow threading.
The reply of the salon is ridiculous 'BEING IMPATIENT can ruin the brows and using Vaseline and not the A&D cream. Why did you not invite my back to have a look at your handy work. There is nothing there are 3 days. I am not interested in getting a freebee as I work as a TEACHER for a living. If a customer said they were unhappy why would you not look at what they are saying. WHY would I give you another £79 when you are incapable - as that is like throwing £160 down the drain and taking POT LUCK - your rubbish and its a SCAM

WOWCHER - OUCHER
DON'T BE DEFRAUDED OUT OF YOUR CASH

I paid £79 to have semi-permanent eyebrows at HMB Salon, what I got was £5 eyebrow threading. The lady at the salon just coloured a shape onto my face - there is no tattooing at all. After 3 days the colouring started to come off. I contact the salon, Shereen 'Shy' and she said that I should wait to have a touch up at another £79. There is nothing to touch up and it was just one big SCAM. What I am left with is a ultra thin brow (I can't believe how she could be so spiteful). I have to got back to using a black eye shadow which makes my face look hard - I would rather that, than look like a mangoose.

Im sorry you feel this way but as its £199 with a free touchup the special offer at £79 doesn't consist of free touchup,
Im sorry after3 days i refused to let you get redone as this is the healing stage, fading is normal in many circumstances, and can reappear. The skins healin process will take at lease 6 wks to see the true colour, being impatient can ruin your brows, also aftercare such as using vaseline can effect and fade it as well as not applying the A&D cream also you chose the lighter brown which i did mention it will fade by up to 50% you agreed that if it fades lighter than you expected on your touchup we can go over it or darken it, please just because we said the topup isnt free you decided to enter sabatage stage. If you pay £79 for two sessions That will be a pointless procedure as a needle is £20 ink £60 plus time. And the training which had to be completed and effort it would not make sence for any semi permanent tattooist to charge so little unless there using cheep tools and products or may just simply be training.

The staff were very welcoming, and talked me through the whole process. The result was great and it was value for money. Will definitely be visiting again!

Read some really awful reviews prior to going (local rivals?!) booked with two work colleagues and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience - wowcher, voucher of facial, full massage and eye brows threading. We were so impressed with the staff, young but knowledgeable about what they were doing, the treatments were what we expected for what we paid and the facilities and equipment were more than adequate for the purpose, would definitely return, the staff there were very welcoming and accommodating. Thanks for the experience, keep up your good work.

Everytime I visit HMB I always leave happy with my treatments. Most recently I have had eyelash extensions and they have all lasted really well. They lasted throughout my holiday and still looked great a week after returning from my holiday, I was also complimented on them a few times too. They always manage to fit me in even if it is last minute, staff are always friendly and I would definitely recommend this salon to friends.

Absolutely awful experience. I have had many eyelash extensions before always with great results so bought a voucher to have them done at this salon. They never answer the phone so making an appointment was impossible I just sort of turned up and thankfully she could fit me in. She took a total of 20min for my lashes which I was very surprised by. She then said she had me down for the wrong voucher so I paid extra for them. Total rip of in hindsight. The salon was a mess and very untidy. The had brows were well done however. Having slept the night all of the lashes on one side had fallen out. I have never had that happen so contacted the place and she was basically blaming me saying that they are very high quality and would refuse to top them up only if I paid more and she claimed she was too busy so had no time anyway. I was very disgusted and appaled at the treatment I had received would not recommend at all.

If your late unfortunately time must be cut short. And i do remember you said you wet the lashes. I said pop even booked you in and you didnt attend, back and you left it almost two weeks. Thats when an infill is due this is why we said youll have to pay,

Completely unprofessional salon. I went to get hair extensions through groupon for the first time. I booked an appointment to have consultation. When I arrived I was made to wait for 30 min and then the lady wasn't there and I was informed I could speak with her over the phone. Already here I should have demanded my money back. Either way, I upgraded to real hair and wanted the extensions to be coloured. All was sorted (and I of course was made to pay upfront ) and my hair was to be coloured by my appointment. When I arrived next time for my appointment, nothing was arranged. My hair had not been colored and I was made to wait for 2 hrs while this was sorted. I did like my extensions when they were finally put into place and the lady helping me was lovely, however manager of the salon was under any critique and I can't not believe how they can run a business. Would never ever go here again and I suggest no one else does either and I can only fault myself for not telling them off in the first place.

My extensionist informed me you mentioned your here for extensions. She never knew its for a consultation so she finished her client and attended to you, i was at a wedding and did not do a consultation via phone. You did it wiith my colleague who you were booked in with, having said that the conclusion meant cancelling deal or colouring hair. You went for the colour. After you coloured the hair the colour wasnt written down to confirm your colour. Nor had your number so cd not buy hair we didnt have the colour for. In the end we bought many just so we had the best match for you. We Dont colour extensions we order the colour. Its a new salon although we do our best to please clients. We cant pleade them all.
