This is my second time going here for a Hollywood wax and I had the worst experience. There are now only 2 people running the shop and ever since then, my experience hasn’t been so good.
The woman doing the wax had no care in the world. Numerous times I told her the wax was too hot and she still proceeded without letting it cool. The way she waxed was so painful and no sense of empathy. I couldn’t wait to leave. There was also no aftercare, she just sent me on my way.
After a few days I also noticed my skin peeling which I’ve never experienced before.
My first experience was a black lady who took her time with me and ensured I was comfortable, stopped briefly when I was in pain and even held a simple conversation along with aftercare.
I won’t be returning again for this treatment.
