I had a serous back injury and found out about barbara from a friend. We had a 1:1 session as no vacancies in a suitable class - I was given a list of exercises to follow so I would be fit enough to join a class when a vacancy arose.
Barbara did contact me with a suitable class. I went straight after work for 2 years and progressed from knowing nothing about Pilates to loving it. It has improved my fitness and mobility. I also have osteoporosis and my consultant says Pilates is the best thing to do. My bone density has also improved.
The classes are friendly and Barbara is a great trainer. My husband is also now doing pilates after a couple of sessions 1:1 with her.
I can highly recommend Barbara and thank her for getting me back into fitness.
Healthy Bodies changed my life. I was a smoker, overweight, stressed at both work and home so it is no wonder I had a heart attack. I have been attending Pilates for approx 18 months on the recommendation of the hospital following an operation.
The classes have helped my condition tremendously, my muscles are much stronger than they were 18 months ago, there are a lot of stretching exercises and if I miss a class my body lets me know.
Initially I had a one to one with the trainer and it was agreed that I would benefit from attending group sessions on a weekly basis.
The exercises are designed to cover everybody's abilities.
The prices are reasonable and the Trainer is extremely patient, the group is small, friendly and welcoming so nobody should be afraid of coming along.
I've been going to this Pilates class for approx 2 years. The classes are friendly and small enough to feel you are getting personal attention. The instructor is very experienced, well trained and approachable with any individual problems.
My back is now much stronger than it was, I feel as though I am walking taller and I look forward to my weekly class. I am 62.
