I went to this hairdressers not expecting too much, after the last few places I had been to had not only disappointed me but also charged me far more than The Parkway have ever tried to. I left this hairdressers feeling brilliant, the atmosphere and staff were all lovely and they made my hair look nicer than it ever has before, resulting in many compliments by very jealous friends. Not only was I pampered when at the hairdressers but also had products recommended for my hair type and colour for home use too and they have far from disappointed. I was treated like a princess from the moment I walked in to the moment I left, paying a very reasonable price. I have recommended this hairdresser to many others and will definitely be returning for another enjoyable and relaxing experience.
We have visited this hotel on several occasions via the Wahanda special offers. The reason we keep returning is quite simply that the package is excellent value, the hotel is in a superb location with fabulous staff and we like to do a day's shopping in nearby Leeds, which can be easily reached by taking the bus from the stop located directly outside the hotel.
really easy no nosense booking. All straight forward. Lots of choice and excellent value for money. I would recommend to my friends.
The hotel and spa were very tired and in need of a major refurb , even our bedding had holes in it. But it was clean and the staff were friendly. We couldn't take full advantage of the spa , as a child had been sick in the pool , so it was shut till 4 pm on the first day. The food was really nice and the serving staff , the restaraunt lacked atmosphere , we had to whisper to hold a conversation as you could hear a pin drop. But for £89 a couple for a stay with a three course meal and breakfast , you couldn't really expect more.
I enjoyed my stay just what I needed to let go of my stress massage treatment was very good found the problem n gave some advice, would of been better the whole experience if I went by myself without a nagging friend n went with my boyfriend. This place is nice to go with your partner.
Swimming pool could be abit bigger and the gym equipment could be upgraded.The hotel room was nice but could do with an upgrade to. In all felt welcomed and happy minus the nagging n pickyness from my friend.
