I made a last minute booking and specifically booked a hair cut from Mary because she had great reviews. I got a missed call telling me to come in 10 minutes before the appointment and subsequently got an email confirming that my appointment had been changed to 10 minutes earlier. They didn't ask if this would suit me which I thought was odd. Anyway, I rushed to make it there only to find that I was seen to 15 minutes after I arrived. In other words, 5 minutes after the time I had originally booked. One thing I noticed was that I wasn't offered a drink, not even tap water (it's not a big deal honestly but I have been offered something to drink at every other hairdresser so I just thought it was unusual and by this stage I was a bit annoyed because I had rushed there).
Then a lady told me to come over to the sink to wash my hair (it wasn't Mary). I thought Mary would do the haircut but she didn't. No explanation. This other lady (whose name I've forgotten) proceeded to cut my hair (a little bit too aggressively for my liking and I did flinch a few times).
So, overall, the service was very basic and I was disappointed that I was asked to come earlier when I was then seen to late and also didn't have Mary. HOWEVER, I cannot fault the haircut itself.
