I have not been to a hairdresser in years, but was really pleased with the hair treatment and service I received at LauraLyn. I got so much more than I would usually expect from a hairdresser! I had a shampoo and deep conditioner and whilst waiting for the conditioner to work, she gave me LOTS of advice about hair care and maintenance eg suitable products and how to apply them, vitamins, and real encouragement about my own natural hair! After the conditioner was rinsed out, she added various products, massaged my scalp, blow dried my hair which looked and felt great! It has not looked that good or felt that soft in a very long time!! She finished off with a simple cornrow style I had requested. So overall, a great experience! Highly recommended!
I would like to say a big thank you to Lauralyn - she fitted me in for an appointment at the last minute as I had a wedding to attend despite having a very busy schedule and a lot of customers. She did my hair amazingly and when someone said to me I looked ten years younger that said it all on how well she did my hair. I would thoroughly recommend Lauralyn to anyone who wants their hair done by a Professional who treats her clients with care and respect and does your hair to a 5 star standard. Like most women we try many hairdressers over a lifetime and I am very fussy about my hair but this lady is good!

My overall experience is really positive. Laura makes you feel very comfortable and was very informative about hair and the procedure of adding the weave and what is best for your natural hair. This has been my first weave in the UK, as I usually wait to go back home to Namibia before doing it, but talking to Laura on the phone prior to my appointment I felt assured she is an expert with hair. I bought my hair from her as well, and after 2 weeks and 2 washes, it is still sleek and in good condition. When I need to refit my weave I will definitely call on her expertise again.
P.s. My Fiance loved my new look and have gotten many compliments from people since.

It was the first time getting my hair done at a salon for about forever. When I came across Lauralyn, we spoke and discussed my needs. Up until my appointment day, she stayed in touch with me and showed and discussed styles that would suit me. Having met her on the day, I was comforted and reassured that this would be my best decision yet and it was.
I now have a beautiful head of hair and have been complemented immensely on it. I feel alive because my hair is now alive too. Lauralyn, you are a star and it's all because of you! I was worried about getting my hair braided in the UK as I usually get it done in the United States. The minute I met Lauralyn, my worries were eased. She's someone who cares about natural hair, and took time to find out about my regimen and goals. Moreover, she's very careful in her work and pays attention to every detail - from sourcing hair products to the hairstyling itself. A day after I had my appointment, I sent a friend visiting from Paris to get her hair braided. We're both 2 happy chicas and I look forward to having Lauralyn do my hair again!
