Laura, is warm person and very passionate about her work. Quite a perfectionist a quality quite rare in hair dressers, perfect attitude to have in a business that is so important to people who are moving from the perms, wigs, weaves to being natural again. Laura showed a lot of care and attention to the immediate priority that my hair is lacking advising on the type of treatment required to get my hair back in tip top condition. My hair has suffered a little but I feel revived that I now have a hair dresser who will take the time on a 1-2-1 case scenario to ensure I get the best attention in achieving the ultimate in bringing my hair back to life. Thank you Laura for your time and patience even though you noted my hair is not that bad, but we agree it can look a lot better - your advice is golden! Family and Friends are loving the new Nubian look and I must say I am too.. You’re awesome!
Laura is an amazing hair dresser with a wealth of knowledge especially with regards to natural hair or hair which has been over process that it's thinning (me). I originally visited Laura after having a telephone consultation with her. The consultation process didn't stop there, Laura advised me on treatments, what products would be suitable for my type of hair - this is something I have never experienced before from a hairdresser. My hair journey with Laura has been fantastic, from having my staple hair style of braids, to my first weave, Brazilian keratin blow dry (all natural) to my current style of crochet braids (nice and light and little more grown up than braids). When we look to change my hairstyle, we discuss what would suit my hair type and also my lifestyle as this has been variable (pregnancy, post natal, returning to work). My natural hair feels fuller than it has in a long time and my hair line which had started to recede (due to tight braids and relaxing my hair every 8 weeks before Laura) has also grown back thicker and my hair line is better than when I was 10 (prior to my first relaxer) which allows me to wear my hair in many more styles than I previously could. I travel from Hertfordshire (2 hours) to get my hair done by Laura and she is worth every effort especially when my natural hair feels soft and hydrated without feeling greasy. I'm loving my straight crochet braids. I would highly recommend Laura - you won't see anyone else once you've sat in her chair :-)

I would like to say a big thank you for my box braids. they look amazing.! I was given a full consultation on the condition of my natural hair and how Lauralyn will work with me to ensure my hair is strengthened and grows to it's full potential. I am getting numerous complements on my new hair do. I am completely satisfied with the customer service and happy that Lauralyn is very knowledgable and look forward to more hair styles as Lauralyn's versility is second to none.
I was very much a septic of wearing a weave until a friend referred me to Laura. She listened to my concerns and offered some great advise in looking after my own hair and the weave. She provided a great service, always flexible. Needless to say that is why i travel all the way from Bristol as i trust her with my head!!!!!
