Made to wait when I arrived as the hairdressers were all taking pictures of themselves in dress up outfits. Wasn't asked what I wanted doing before they washed my hair so they ended up putting a conditioning mask on for 5 minutes, onto hair that was going to be completely cut off! When the hairdresser finally did ask what I wanted doing, she didn't ask for details, didn't want to look at the pictures I had of what I wanted. Bearing in mind this was a complete style change from very long to short, so I was already a little apprehensive about such a big change.
When drying my hair she repeatedly hit my head with the hair dryer as she wasn't even watching what she was doing. She didn't ask if I wanted any layering or shaping at the front etc. When I got home I found out that one side was obviously longer than the other! I had to fix it myself as I had travelled to Nottingham for the weekend from London, so couldn't even go back and complain.
Generally found the hairdresser dismissive and quite rude, made no attempts at conversation, just spoke to her colleagues in another language.
Good points were being offered coffee, and my sister who came with me was also looked after, and the salon was very clean.
