I've never had my hair dyed before and Ophelia was amazing. She listened to what I wanted and gave me a fantastic natural looking balayage that I've had loads of compliments on.
I don't usually write negative reviews but on this occasion I am going to; Rushed and rude atmosphere - My hairdresser left me with a wet cold conditioning treatment on for over 25 minutes (meant to be on for ten mins) while he dyed another customers hair. When I managed to catch his attention (after walking past me with many times avoiding eye contact) he finally sent me with a hand gesture to the sinks have my hair washed with someone else (who was lovely...but. I have a sensitive scalp prone to dandruff so I don't want a wet conditioning treatment sat on my scalp for nearly half an hour. The haircut itself was rough and rushed and when I went to collect my jacket the receptionist was chilling with her feet up on the sofa. All in all a bad experience - Would not recommend!
Ricardo is really friendly and listened to exactly how I wanted it. Colour is great, would definitely recommend him and Gusto
Mario was really nice, was happy with visit
DISAPPOINTING. I asked for natural-looking highlights that would grow out without being noticeable; this is a look I've had on and off for about 10 years. This was the first time I've been dissatisfied with my haircut, ever, and actually became very self-conscious about my hair. The highlights were too light (the stylist asked me what colour I wanted, and I said I trusted her judgement as I don't know how to pick the colour...shouldn't have!) and they were done in large chunks. It looked bad, and certainly not natural. When I expressed that I wasn't sure about the look, the stylist said that it was just the lighting in the salon. Anyway, after confirming with friends that my hair was stripey, I called the salon the next day to express my disappointment; and I'm pleased to say that they booked me in straight away to see a more experienced hair stylist named Emil at the Soho location. Emil did a wonderful job, he listened to my preference for natural highlights, fixed the colour by adding (non-chunky, evenly-distributed) lowlights, and even took a photo of the end result so that he could remember me and my preferences for the next time I go in. I am so happy with the end product. I would definitely not go back to the first person I went to, but will be back to see Emil at the Soho location!
