I booked the package deal for half head highlights, cut and blow dry. At the end I was told I had to pay an extra £15 for a toner, which no one mentioned until the very end. This was pretty bad service as I assumed everything was paid for. It should had been made clear when the toner was applied that it was an additional cost! Also the stylist was very rude about my hair, saying how horribly it had been previously cut and that if I wanted nice hair I would always have to come back to a good stylist like her! She also cut my hair much much shorter than I asked for. Not impressed, won’t be returning.
It was a very pleasant experience apart from the salon being very warm.
I had the haircut with luxury hair treatment and what can I say? From the start Mario was extremely hospitable and gave me one the best haircuts. You know sometimes you go in for a haircut and the stylist doesn’t quite give you the cut you wanted? Not the case here, Mario listened and delivered. He was also very kind enough to give a few much needed pointers on how to look after my hair and what treatments I should do to keep my hair well maintained
Excellent!
I like Gusto and have been going there for some time as they give excellent hair cuts for such an affordable price. The hair cut was excellent as always. My main complaint is that the hairdresser while she was cutting my hair was constantly complaining about my hair colour. I had previously dyed my hair blonde and the hair dresser was constantly complaining and making negative comments. After a hard days work I wanted to relax and get my hair done and not hear someone constantly complaining about my hair colour. Due to this experience I might be going to the Brewer Street location of Gusto instead.
