The venue itself had clean and comfortable communal areas and the treatment room had a relaxing atmosphere, though the room could have been warmer. The full body massage received by myself was perfectly relaxing. However, the therapist that carried out my friend's facial didn't listen when asked not to be too hands on over sensitive areas and talked throughout the whole treatment making it less relaxing than it should have been.

Hotel was great,staff very helpful and friendly.Food in resturant was first class waiters good,especially Mo.Check in very easy and Katrina in reception was very helpful.Spa was clean and warm,rooms large and airy.

We went for a Valentine's stay at the Guildford Manor Hotel & Spa. Abigail had a Swedish massage treatment and loved it. The hotel itself was slightly underwhelming: we had our baby with us and it was hard to climb up the many steps into the entrance, and then there is no lift once you get in. The doors are quite heavy and there is no one to greet you. The reception desk is to one side and not really welcoming. The restaurant food was delicious. The upgraded room was fair.
