Beautiful location and great venue. The weather was the only sticking point, it was too wet and windy to go out for a walk and take in the scenic surroundings.
Disappointed that our deluxe room doesn't have a bath tub; confirmed booking for a hot stone massage, but due to communications hiccups, ended up with a Swedish massage instead.
Was not informed the changing room is unisex. Towel are too small to use. Make sure you are booking a whole day spa day and not half day. Felt very rushed and didn’t get a chance to relax with my sister.
The steam room was out of service and we were not notified beforehand of this otherwise we could have cancelled! We drove all the way there to find one of the most enjoyed parts of the spa experience, the steam room, was out of service?!
The outdoor pool was not at hot as it was last time. There were kids there with their parents, which I found quite a nuisance as you go to a spa experience for the quiet and serenity.
The massage was lovely and very relaxing… couldn’t fault that. Unfortunately the steam room was out of order, our room was very poorly sound proofed and we could hear other guests in adjacent rooms very clearly and late at night. Breakfast was poor… no fresh fruit, no natural yoghurt, no pastries. Staff in the restaurant were very slow to seat us both at afternoon tea and breakfast.
