The things we found could do with clarity being the two course set meals.The staffing very good but some not fully explaining the combinations.
The breakfast very good except for poorly cooked eggs and budget bacon.
Our last concern was the maintenance regarding our last room did not have over bed lights that worked and the bathroom radiator was permanently on,I think the wiring system should be checked?.The Hyro pool great but being in our 80’s it needed
Treatment was lovely. Afternoon tea was lovely. Pool was good. No space to sit outside due to amount of people there - far too crowded, not relaxing in that respect at all
We had a very poor experience unfortunately with the management of the spa. The spa changed our times with little warning and were very rude to us when we discussed the issue with them. The management did not offer any support and our treatments only went ahead at the time we booked because another customer changed their booking.
The management told us it was our fault and I have since checked with Treatwell who explained it was the spa not using the booking system correctly.
Peenida's treatments were absolutely fantastic - my mum said it was the best facial of her life, and my Swedish massage was also divine! She was so professional, warm, and welcoming.
The hotel spa area definitely needs some tlc, and there were definitely some cleanliness issues with the interior and a couple of things not working as they should - e.g. the sauna. It seems the hotel is hopefully working on these, and outdoor areas like the seating by the small pool were the saving grace!
