The afternoon tea was very nice, however ignored for first 5 minutes by the staff even though restaurant was quiet. Treatment room was untidy, no ambient lighting, no music. Resembled a store room with an office divider. My massage was terrible, no flow or consistency, not asked if pressure was ok and she took her timing from the other therapist, didn't actually finish the full body. Not a nice experience. Lack of staff, no towels in the spa and grotty robes. Will not be returning.

The spa is really a bit of a mixed bag. The outdoor jacuzzi and terrace area is stunning and looks out over green fields - the weather was fantastic so we really made the most of this space. The main pool and jacuzzi, sauna and steam room are nice too, but the usual and functional rather than feeling special. The changing rooms are tired and worn, and the changing area and toilets - particularly the paintwork and areas of the floor could definitely be cleaner.

Swedish massage by Vivian - brilliant. Courteous and professional. Mo at the restaurant - fantastic- made my daughter’s bday celebration very special . 3. The, room view and grounds were beautiful. HOWEVER - cost of overnight stay was a complete and utter waste of money!.. extremely disappointed overall. Smell of stale wee in bath, floor not hoovered and worse barely manages 3/4 hours sleep due to paper thin walls and VERY NOISY couple in adjoining room. Asked for different room - none

Good deep tissue massage but only half treatment time. Therapist not on reception when I arrived. We got to treatment room 15 minutes late but finished on time so paid for 50 minutes and got 30.
