The outside area at the front of the hotel is beautiful and well maintained, which creates a great first impression. However, the conditions and cleanliness inside the hotel were a real let down. The large glass front door entrance dirty, cobwebs on chandeliers, the stair carpets old, dirty and damaged. The superior room was more like double room, the towels felt damp, my robe had a ripped pocket and belt holder, plates at breakfast felt gritty … the hotel needs a thorough clean and updating

The massage was great and the masseurs were greatly professional and clearly experienced. Unfortunately they were 10 minutes late, which was not an issue....however as no one instructed us to the waiting area we were not sure that we were at the correct metring point.....we were they were delayed. They then asked us to fill in forms which we could have already done had we known. I did put on the form (as questioned) that it didn't like my feet touched but they didnt actually read the form .

I liked the atmosphere of the hotel, the plants and the beautiful grounds. Staff in the restaurant were friendly. Reception staff, however, varied in their helpfulness and politeness. The spa facilities were clean and okay. Sadly, wifi wasn't working, the indoor hot tub was out of order and our treatment times were changed to unmatched timing.
