When I booked I wasn't paying attention to exact location (just that it was under 1 mile from my house), and may not have gone ahead with it if I had. I wouldn't call the spot tranquil and when I saw the doorway nestled between off licences I was still skeptical, with neon signs and a dark stairway down to the reception desk.
That said, the treatment room was exactly as you'd like it in terms of equipment and ambiance and, most importantly, the beautician was great. She was the right balance of quiet but asking at the right points if things were okay / pressure right / face routine during facial etc.
The only slight discomfort I felt was all three ladies behind the desk pitching to me afterwards with regards to getting a dermalogica starter kit, which I obliged and bought but under slight duress.
Otherwise was very pleased and good value. Definitely will be heading back.

Had a very good massage with a very attentive masseuse. I would have liked her to focus more intensely on my back which is the area I circled needing focus but she gave an excellent massage regardless with a face massage too. Left feeling very relaxed
