As a first-generation immigrant, I started by learning English and then followed my creative passion by studying beauty therapy. My first experience at college confirmed that working in a salon was the right path for me. Since graduating, I’ve worked at two professional salons and have developed specialist skills in facial threading, waxing, manicures, pedicures, and classic eyelash extensions. I’ve also grown in my ability to make clients feel comfortable and have gained valuable insight into the business side of running a salon. I am currently working at GISS Hair & Beauty, where I continue to learn and grow in a supportive, professional environment.
