The first two visits I had were better. On the third visit, I had my blonde highlights done with a new hairdresser. I was a little disappointed about the payment. I called there to schedule an appointment, and the receptionist said that I needed to go there for an evaluation. I took a day off just for that, and went there. When I got there, the receptionist didn't call the hairdresser and just gave me a price based on a table. On the day I went to get the highlights done, the hairdresser told me that it would be almost double the price that the receptionist had told me, because I had a lot of hair. And that each bottle of bleach she used would cost £10 more. I explained to her that I had gone there before just for the evaluation and that the receptionist had given me a set price and hadn't told me anything about an extra charge for each bottle of bleach. In the end, I ended up paying almost double the price that they had told me. I thought it was unfair because I had gone there before for an evaluation, and the receptionist didn't even touch my hair or call the hairdresser to evaluate it. The salon closes at 5 pm on Saturday, she started my hair at 2 pm, and of course it wasn't ready by 5 pm, so she used a stronger hydrogen peroxide bleach on the top strands to make it faster. As a result, the strands had a different color and my hair broke a lot on the top. I paid the amount they charged me but I won't be going back.
Everyone was super helpful and friendly! Aimee spent a whole hour helping me decide what to do to my hair, discussing a billion options with so much patience the day before my appointment. Gjystina was so gentle, thorough and understood exactly what I wanted. Executed to perfection! Also Ellie was so bubbly, always smiling, gave me the nicest massage when washing my hair :)
Had a wash cut and blow dry. The staff are very gentle and they took good care of me. My hair looks and feels fantastic. She also gave me good info on how to care for my hair. Will return :)
Beth really took time to listen & understand what I wanted from my appointment today. My hair wasn't it great condition and the style was out grown and out dated. The colour was awful and needed a total refresh and she was so good at explaining exactly what was needed to achieve the best & most realistic out come. I came away very pleased with the result and feeling like myself again. Thank you Beth.
Lovely experience. All the ladies are so relaxed and friendly. Beth took time to answer my questions and explain why I was having problems. The young lady who washed my hair gave me great advice about my thinning hair,with a head massage too. Beth has given me a beautiful cut. I am over the moon with it. That's not an exaggeration. So again, lovely experience,in a salon were you don't feel rushed or that you are just hair! Thank you Ghost Selsdon.
