The staff kept me waiting in the foyer for 2-3 minutes but then said my massage started from when I arrived rather than when the lady actually started massaging. The massage started nicely with the lady walking on my back & massaging my back with her feet. This was good but has lead to friction burn on my skin due to the rough towel that was between her feet & my back. Softer towels might be better because the walking on the back is very good for massaging. When she moved to using her hands the "deep" part of the deep tissue massage no longer applied. She was unstructured, and uneven in the way she massaged my back & she jumped around a lot. Worst thing was she started washing my back at 25 to the hour even though I had paid for an hour long massage that started at 10 to. When I told the receptionist I'd only recieved 45 minutes, I was shouted at in Chinese. To compensate me I was offered 15 minutes extra the next time I go.
The massage itself was technically good but the overall experience was lacking a little. The room was cold, the masseuse answered her mobile part way through, and seemed to be quite keen to finish.
The staff were friendly and it was value for money. I would have preferred a little more explanation from the therapist on what was going to happen and some music to create a relaxing atmosphere. Overall a good experience.
Excellent treatment - lovely therapist & great value for money. I would definitely recommend. Packages are also available which work out cheaper than Wahanda if you intend to go regularly
