It was my first acupuncture treatment, which was interesting as I wasn't sure what to expect.
I got to the treatment room and the lady that did my treatment was nice, but unfortunately did not have much English, so it was very difficult to ask questions and get explanations on how it all worked, what I should expect, etc. So, I showed her where I had pain, lied down on the bed and she put the needles in the targeted area. And that was it, I stayed there for 30 mins and then afterwards she took the needles off and I left.
Acupuncture is not as relaxing as a massage/ it doesn't have the same feel good factor during the treatment. However, there is no pain at all and after the treatment I felt improvements to the area.
I would recommend the treatment to people with muscle pain as the results seem to be longer lasting than a massage. From a customer experience perspective, maybe the venue should have some explanatory leaflet on the treatment in case of questions as it was not easy to communicate with the therapist.
The waxing was quite painful but good overall. I recommend the place because they are quite fast and you can book last minute and find availability. A bit pricey for what they offer..
